I have been in Early Childhood Education since 2009. I am married to my best friend and I have one son that is two years old.
My care for children started for me at a young age. I use to continually get mad at my mother when we could not take home children from our church bus that needed to be cared for. I did not understand why my parents could not just take them, because even at a young age I could tell when children were not taken care of. In high school, I devoted my summers to the Uganda Children’s Choir. Twenty eight healthy children from Uganda, Africa came to Georgia to perform at different churches to raise money for their school and orphanage. Within three years, the children were able to raise millions of dollars to buy land and build a school and orphanage adequate for their needs.
When I graduated in 2009, I spent two weeks of my summer at the orphanage to help the teachers get acclimated in their classrooms and help prepare a library for the school. When I returned from Africa I knew I needed to care for children. Over the years, I am very thankful to be a part of a company that has the passion to set a firm foundation for children at such a young age.

Courtney Tumlin, Assistant Director
I have been working in childcare for over 10 years and I'm a graduate from Georgia Highlands with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. I love working with children of all ages and have a passion for hands-on fun! Having a fun learning environment is a top priority for me and working at Sunbrook has given me the opportunity to continue my love for teaching. I am lucky to work with such a great company that is constantly supporting their schools and staff.
I am happily married to my best friend Ben and I am a mommy to Josie and Grayson.
