Pre-K 3 Program

As your child transitions from toddlerhood to childhood, Sunbrook Academy's Pre-K 3 Program is there to assist the students and parents during this important time, while simultaneously challenging the student to cross even more ambitious milestones. We are committed to the total needs of your child - academically, developmentally, mentally,socially and emotionally.

Sunbrook Academy's Pre-K 3 Program invokes the full spectrum of FOUNDATIONS™, our developmentally appropriate educational curriculum to fully prepare the student for pre-kindergarten. The program offers pre-math (an introduction to the concept of numbers recognition, counting and geometric shapes) and pre-reading (the introduction to the alphabet visually and orally) and listening comprehension. Our program strives to further develop the student's self confidence and social development, focusing on learning to share and relating in a group environment. FOUNDATIONS™ is designed for hands-on experiences and explorations to help promote learning through the use of language, music, art, games, storytelling, fine and gross motor activities and cognitive activities. Our Certified Program Coordinator, along with the expertly trained and qualified teachers, create lesson plans to incorporate all of the key learning experiences of early childhood education.

Sunbrook Academy's computer labs will play an increasingly important role in the Pre-K 3 curriculum, along with more advanced music, art and foreign language programs. Optional developmental programs such as ballet, tap dance and gymnastics will be introduced at this level for the children to join. Our specially designed playground provides the much needed physical outlet for these young children and will continue to provide the opportunity for fun and camaraderie in an exciting outdoor setting.
